The second-hand marketplace Users Voice Frustration Regarding Size Changes
Members of the platform have expressed outrage due to a modification that led to listings displaying inaccurate size information.
This online marketplace has updated its measurement guidelines for women's and children's clothes without notifying all shoppers about the modification.

Many shoppers and sellers are expressing on platforms saying Vinted listings now show an altered size classification versus the original listing because of the remapping.
Vinted explained the updated approach better aligns with other platforms.
The platform has recommended to examine their items and manually change the size where appropriate, resulting in member annoyance.
Measurement Approach Changes
Earlier, the sizing featured a single numeric size and a letter, like S/8 or M/10.
The updated approach includes an alphabetical indicator and numerical range for example S/UK 8-10.
With some products, the sizing has been recategorised - such as a large size was formerly size 12 but currently displays as UK 16-18.

A fashion influencer, who makes TikTok content about plus-size fashion, said the change "makes both selling and buying harder".
"Few clothing companies classify XL as 20-22," the way the service now categorizes.
Stephanie Gallen, from Glasgow, said garments she listed on Vinted with size 14 labels were showing in the marketplace as larger sizing 20-22.
"If anyone [who is] size 20-22 buys them they're going to be very disappointed," she explained.
Required Changes
Another shopper, based in Derby, explained she became annoyed because the modification necessitated personal updates the measurements for "each individual item".
"Personally, this is quite irritating, as I'm chronically ill and platform income has been essential after experiencing income reduction," she explained.
Marketplace Information
The platform boasts over 100 million shoppers, comprising 18 million UK members.
It has emerged as a preferred choice versus similar marketplaces including eBay and Depop.
This represents another occasion where an unanticipated change within the service has received backlash: earlier, the service retracted a modification concerning shipment methods due to shopper criticism.
